| Junior high and high
school students have diverse interests and there’s
not always enough time or resources in the classroom to
meet their needs in a particular subject area. INNOVA has
developed software that fills a few of those voids and
reinforces the fact that junior high and high school
learning – even poetry – can be a lot of fun! Poetry comes to life in Poetry in a
Nutshell®, which introduces students to the important
elements of poems, and The Character of Poetry®, which
explores imagery, tone, mood and features 46 poems that
can be listened to or read. According to Ashley in
Winnipeg, Manitoba, our products have helped her develop
her interest in the subject. "I really enjoyed The

In Rocks and Minerals, they
learn about the formation of rocks and minerals, the
different types and ages of rocks and how to identify and
classify minerals in nature. In INNOVA’s Orientation
to Apprenticeship, students are given an overview of
the Newfoundland and Labrador apprenticeship system and
encouraged to consider trade careers.
