Language One: Opposites are Fun! Learning Outcomes Students will: 1. Identify and match opposite words. Activity: Prepare cards with opposite words such as big, little, fast, slow, etc. Arrange the students in groups of five. Using the cards as a memory or concentration game, spread them face down on the floor or on a table. Have students take turns, drawing two cards at a time, to find pairs of matching opposite words. The game ends when all the cards have been matched.
