• Worksheets:
  Design worksheets in which the student must choose from a list of words a word to fill the bank in a sentence.



• Distribute answer word cards to each student. Write on chart paper sentences with one word missing. The students holding the answer card must stand up as each sentence is read.



• Students can copy sentences from texts, and omit one word from each sentence.Students exchange and correct each other's papers. Remind students to keep a master copy with the correct answers.
