Fill the Blank (word prediction based on context)

Students will be able to: 
choose the most meaningful word to fill the blank in a sentence.

ACTIVITY
1. 	Worksheets:
	Design worksheets in which the student must choose from a list of words a word to fill the bank in a sentence.
2. 	Distribute answer word cards to each student. Write on chart paper sentences with one word missing. The students holding the answer card must stand up as each sentence is read.
3. 	Students can copy sentences from texts, and omit one word from each sentence.Students exchange and correct each other's papers. Remind students to keep a master copy with the correct answers.
