Students will:
Activity
- Label some paper stone cut-outs with the numarls
0-19.
- Arrange randomly to suggest a stepping-stone
bridge across a stream.
- Ask class to chant the numerals slowly from 0-19.
- As numbers are called out, have a child step on
the appropriate stone.
- If the steps on an incorrect stone - oops! He or
she has fallen in.
- This game can be played with 2 teams, with a
point given for each successful crossing.
