| In 1994, teachers John Maddock and Joe
Wiseman discovered the world of multimedia. They took
John’s ideas on teaching poetry and transformed them
into a CD-ROM that went on to become INNOVA
Multimedia Ltd.’s first product: Poetry in a
Nutshell. John and Joe, who both have Masters in
Education degrees, recognized that their product was
somewhat unique – it focused on education, not
entertainment like most CD-ROM products on the market. In
October 1997, Bill Maddock joined the company as Director
of Information Technology, QA/QC. Bill has over 30 years
of experience in the Information Technology (IT)
industry.Since then, John and Joe have shaped INNOVA
into a multimedia company that puts learning first. In
addition to developing a range of educational software
products for primary, junior high and high school
students, INNOVA offers a full range of
educational multimedia services to businesses and
