They were recognized by Financial Post as one of Canada's top 25 up and coming software companies. Today, INNOVA Multimedia Ltd., of Stephenville, continues to break new ground. Most recently, INNOVA has teamed up with the Bay St. George campus of the College of the North Atlantic to develop a comprehensive and interactive multimedia instructional health care package on infection control. The CD-ROM version will be distributed to health care institutions and other locations both provincially and nationally. The project has been partially funded by the New Media Initiative, a joint federal/provincial funding program managed by Operation ONLINE Inc. (Opportunities for Newfoundland and Labrador in the New Economy). Other well known INNOVA titles include "A WHALE of a TALE: Dive into Math" and "Poetry in a Nutshell." These products are currently in schools in North America and Australia.
