INNOVA Multimedia Ltd. of Stephenville has signed an
important distribution deal that will open up access to
worldwide markets. INNOVA is a producer of high quality,
interactive educational
software, encoded on CD-ROM and designed for use by
teachers and students as part of the core curriculum. The
agreement with Irwin Publishing Limited of Concord,
Ontario is for the distribution of "In a
Nutshell", a program that is designed to teach the
elements of poetry. The deal is significant because
access to markets is a major stumbling block for many
software developers. Irwin, which holds the right of
first refusal on all future INNOVA programs, is a major
Canadian publishing house with international connections.
INNOVA has a second program near completion and a third
in the development phase. |
