Windows 95 Compatibility Mode

Windows 2000

1. Log on as Administrator, if you have to log on, if not, disregard this step.
2. Click Start, and then click Run,
3. In the Open box, copy and paste the following command, and then click OK, where %SystemRoot% is the drive and folder in which Windows 2000 is installed

You should get a message stating that the process has succeeded. Once that is done, continue with the following:

1. Find the .exe file for each of the whales titles.
2. Right click on the .exe's and Create a shortcut for each, placing it on your desktop, or somewhere where it is readily accessible.
3. Right click on the shortcut and click properties.
4. There should be a 'Compatibility' tab at the top of the properties box, click it.
5. Now you should see a 'Run in compatibility mode:' check box, check it and the dropdown list box below it should activate.
6. Select 'Windows 95 compatibility layer' from the drop down box and click ok.
7. Run the whales title from the shortcut and it should work fine.

Windows XP

1. Log on as Administrator, if you have to log on, if not, disregard this step.
2. Find the .exe file for each of the whales titles.
3. Right click on the .exe files and click properties.
4. Click the 'Compatibility' tab at the top of the properties box.
5. Check the 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' checkbox.
6. Select 'Windows 95' from the drop down list box.
7. Click 'OK'
8. Double click on the .exe, or the shortcut in the 'All Programs'.
